All our coffees have their own unique roasting profile, which may have small variations depending on the weather and season. However, the expertise and experience of our professional coffee roasters provide you with consistently high Wacker's quality with the distinctive taste of each individual coffee variety. There are three degrees of roasting:
- Light: Lighter roasts are characterised by fruity notes and bring out the qualities of the place of origin and the preparation. The result has a high acidity and caffeine content, but less bitterness. We can recommend Galapagos San Cristobal.
- Medium: These coffee roasts have less caffeine and acidity than light roasts. On the other hand, the bitterness increases slightly due to the increased roast aroma and the coffee becomes more intense. It usually finds a good balance between acidity and roasted aroma. Costa Rica Highland Arabica becomes a unique experience..
- Dark: Darker roasts bring more fullness as well as darker, nutty and sometimes smoky aromas. Characteristic are also increased bitter flavours. A tasty example is Ethiopian mocha.
